Position Description:
- Role Overview:As an Associate Data Engineer within TVS Motor Company's Digital and Artificial Intelligence team, you'll be instrumental in the development of complex data pipelines and analytical solutions.
- Reporting Structure: You'll report to an experienced Data Science & Engineering lead who will provide mentorship throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborative Environment: Engage with a diverse team including technical and non-technical members, partners, and clients to understand requirements and build innovative data-driven solutions.
- Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain an analytical data platform for data-driven decision-making.
- Develop data schemas and manage internal data warehouses and SQL/NOSQL database systems.
- Work on data model designs, architecture, implementation, discussions, and optimizations.
- Utilize AWS technologies like S3, RedShift, Lambda, Glue, etc., exploring and learning the latest AWS innovations.
- Collaborate with other teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using AWS big data technologies.
- Assemble large datasets to generate business insights, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation.
- Document end-to-end processes effectively.
- Required Skillsets:
- Proficiency in RDBMS, Big Data, NOSQL, ETL, and Data Warehousing Concepts.
- Mandatory experience in Python/R and SQL.
- Preferably hands-on experience with AWS technologies like S3, EMR, RDS, Redshift, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS is preferred.
- Familiarity with reporting/visualization tools in the industry.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Passion for building unique and disruptive solutions in Finance/Automotive markets.

Educational Qualifications Preferred:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields related to Computer and Information Sciences, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Information Technology, Information Communication, and Technology.
- Degrees such as Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Engineering (MEng), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) are preferred.
