As an Associate - Business Development, the main responsibility involves generating leads and closely interacting with clients in the North American geography.
Responsibilities:
1. Product Understanding: Learn and understand the company's products, their purpose, and the client base.
2. Strategic Planning: Devise plans and innovative methodologies to reach out to potential clients.
3. Lead Generation: Research prospective companies/leads, nurture and engage with them to build a potential sales pipeline.
4. Outreach: Engage with prospects via multiple outbound channels such as cold emails, cold calls, LinkedIn, and other social media channels.
5. Opportunity Development: Build on qualified opportunities to drive sales.
Requirements:
1. Experience: 0-1 year of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably at an Internet StartUp or SaaS Industry. Freshers are also encouraged to apply and will be provided on-the-job training.
2. Drive and Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to challenge and chase goals, thrive in a small team environment, and rapidly iterate on approaches to unlock opportunities.
3. Intellect and Sales Acumen: Demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen with a desire to succeed.
4. Communication Skills: Positive and energetic phone presence to inspire prospects to take the next step.
5. Technical Skills: Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools. Experience working in a company would be an advantage.
