Job Description:
- Opportunity: Flywire is seeking a Payment Operations Associate, Insurance, to join our team responsible for providing finance and operational support for international payments and health insurance businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Posting financial data, reconciling transactions, and managing accounting software (NetSuite).
- Reporting: Assisting with financial statement preparation, tax classification, and BAS reporting.
- Insurance Operations: Handling insurance renewals, extensions, reconciliations, refunds, commissions, and daily, weekly, and monthly payments.
- Banking and Compliance: Managing banking activities, invoicing, credit card reconciliation, compliance verification, and reporting.
- Customer Support: Addressing customer needs via emails and help-desk tickets, and conducting ad-hoc research activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in insurance, accounting, operations, or customer support, preferably within the finance industry.
- Skills: Attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, customer focus, proven interpersonal skills, effective communication (both written and spoken English), and the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a finance or accounting-related field.
