Student Projects
We provide students with the opportunity to work on
academic projects that help them develop technical skills and industry
exposure. These projects are available for students from various academic
backgrounds.

Additional Requirements:
- Minimum
Academic Performance: Students must have at
least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.32 (on a scale of 10) in
their academics.
- Duration: The
project duration can range from 3 months to 12 months, depending on
the student’s preference and project requirements.
- Preference
for Longer Duration: Students opting for longer-duration
projects will be given preference.
- Guide
Availability: The selection of students also depends on the availability
of a guide to mentor them throughout the project.
Working on a student project is a great way to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhance problem-solving skills, and build a strong foundation for future career opportunities.
Internships
In addition to student projects, we also offer
internships for students who want to gain industry exposure and practical
knowledge.
Who Can Apply?
- Open to
BE/BTech, MCA, ME/MTech, and PhD students.
- Both current
students and those who have completed their degree within the last
six months can apply.
Internship Duration &
Criteria:
- The
internship period is around 45 days.
- Students
must have at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10.
- The
availability of a project guide is a key factor in selection.
- Seats
are limited, so early applications are encouraged.
Internships are a great way to gain hands-on experience, work on real projects, and develop skills that will help in future job roles.
Documents Required for
Application
To apply for a student project or internship,
students must submit the following documents via email:
1. Letter of Recommendation
- Must be
from your Head of Department (HoD), Principal, or Placement Officer.
- Should
clearly mention the duration of the project (start and end dates).
- The
letter should be addressed to Group Director, Training, Education, and
Outreach Group, NRSC.
- File
Naming Format: CollegeAbbreviation_StudentName_Branch.pdf
2. CV / Resume
- Must
include academic performance details from 10th grade (X) onwards.
- File
Naming Format: StudentName_CV.pdf
3. Copies of Academic Mark
Sheets
- You
must provide copies of 10th, 12th, undergraduate, postgraduate (if
applicable), and any other relevant academic records.
- File
Naming Format:
- StudentName_X.pdf (for
10th grade marksheet)
- StudentName_XII.pdf (for
12th grade marksheet)
- StudentName_Undergrad.pdf (for
undergraduate marksheets)
- StudentName_Postgrad.pdf (for
postgraduate marksheets, if applicable)
Submitting a complete and correctly formatted
application will improve your chances of getting selected.
How to Apply?
- Students
should send their application via email to student[at]nrsc[dot]gov[dot]in.
- Important
Note: Do not send emails to multiple NRSC email
addresses, as it may result in disqualification.
- Applications must be submitted at least 30 days in advance before the start of the project or internship.
